  1. Drink more water. Believe it or not most of us do not get enough water in each day. Our favorite slim down secret is H20. Most of us are chronically dehyrdrated. Every cell in the body needs water to function, not to mention to carry out toxins. Often times hunger is confused with thirst and therefor we eat too many calories. We recommend at least 3 liters of water per day. If you are looking for weight loss, shoot for a gallon. Your skin and booty will change.
  2. Get at least 8 hours of sleep. EACH NIGHT! We often think we can ‘make up’ for loss of sleep. The truth is each night our body needs eight hours to repair and re-balance our hormones. Balancing our hormones is where the body can most successfully use fat for fuel and reduce that number on the scale. Hit the hay early and don’t feel bad about it.
  3. Change up your workout routine. Do not get stuck in a rut. It happens more often than you think. Find a new class to challenge your body and your workouts. You will see your body change while using muscle groups you are not used to using.
  4. Eat balanced meals. People often think skipping meals will help them to their goal. In fact, it will increase the chances of you eating unbalanced and unintended calories. Make sure you are properly feeding your body the fuel it needs.
  5. Wear the right size. A muffin top is never in style. Choose clothes that properly fit your figure at all stages of your weight loss journey. This is important in and out of the gym. Proper fitting clothes will give you confidence to keep going.
