Studio Etiquette

Studio Etiquette

We’re really big on creating an environment of welcoming and community, while at the same time allowing each of our guests to get the most out of their workout every time they visit The Haute Room.

We’re all here for our own life-changing reasons, and at The Haute Room we take that very seriously.

Before Class

Arrive at least 10 minutes early so you can get set up on your Megaformer and ask any questions you need to of your coach. Learn more about the Megaformer here.

Be sure to let your instructor know ahead of time if you’re dealing with any injuries or health issues. (Be smart: Get clearance from your doctor if you have health problems or injuries, or are recovering from health problems or injuries.)

We provide filtered water. Also wear socks with grippers – these are necessary to prevent slipping on the Megaformer. We will have some for sale if you don’t have any.

Making friends is highly encouraged.

During Class

Everyone should be positive, encouraging, and fitness-minded. For many of us, working out is an escape from the stresses and “junk” of everyday life. Let’s make The Haute Room the perfect getaway!

If you ever feel like letting out a little “Woot Woot” we won’t fault you. These classes do tend to pump people up; just go with it.

When class starts, get into your zone. Lagree classes are physically and mentally challenging, so you’ll need to conjure up some mental toughness anyway. But don’t worry, we’ll host regular social mingles, so we can spend more time getting to know each other!

Do your best and give yourself a break if needed. There’s a difference between the “good” (productive) hurt of pushing yourself physically and the “bad” hurt of injury or performing an exercise incorrectly. Your Lagree coach is here to help you, so ask questions and listen to your body!

The Haute Room is a place free of judgment. If you have questions or need help, don’t be shy – speak up! Remember:

After Class

Give yourself a high five, because you just did what most people DON’T do. You’re feeling pretty pooped after that workout, but you’ll thank us later when you can’t stop looking in the mirror and marveling at your chiseled body.

Replenish your body by drinking lots of water and fuel your muscles with protein within 45 minutes after your class. Oh, and you should probably shower too. We all know how sweaty you are.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here for YOU!
